One to One Lessons
Either you are a beginner, an intermediate or a proficient learner, our individual lessons will be customized to your linguistic goals, completely at your pace and at the most convenient time for you.
You will establish a timetable according to your availability, after a free introductory chat with a tutor, where you can discuss your specific needs and the most appropriate teaching method, based on your level of Italian and your personal way of learning.
One to one lessons last 45 minutes and will be a combination of grammar, conversation and vocabulary reinforcement. These lessons are particularly suitable for those who want a personalized and focused program tailored for their needs. Highly qualified teachers and a careful teaching plan are our personal winning formula of your learning success.
If you wish, there is also the possibility of having semi-individual lessons if you want to share the learning experience with a friend or a loved one.
Fluentoday also prepare for CELI and CILS exams .They are certificates of Italian language competence attesting language knowledge and communication competence. CELI 2 (equivalent to level B1) and CILS UNO (level B1) are mandatory in order to obtain Italian citizenship or to work and study in Italy.

Everybody is always welcome in our courses, however we are aware that young kids require specific lessons personalized to their age and needs. Because of that, our lessons are more aimed at teenagers and adults.
While we try to use Italian all the time, we may use English sometimes to accelerate the process of comprehension especially for absolute beginners. For intermediate and advanced learners only Italian will be used during lessons

Yes, all our teachers are Italian with an academic background to teach Italian as a second language.
Yes. Participants of our language course take a placement test before joining our courses. This is done so that we can place each student in the course that suits their level and their needs. Absolute beginners do not need to take a test.
All students are divided into groups of equal ability according to their own placement test.
The levels range from beginners with no previous knowledge of the language, to participants with basic and intermediate language skills, to advanced participants.
The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is the international standard for describing language ability. It describes language competence on a six-point scale, from A1 for beginners, up to C2 for those who have mastered a language. This makes it easy for anyone involved in language teaching and testing, such as teachers or learners, to see the level of different qualifications.
